training course with Koelle Simpson to learn valuable tools in facilitating
Equus Coaching. In addition to the core focus of developing equus

A cowgirl is a woman who gets in touch with her true nature: her
freedom, passion and talent. She is bold and adventurous, but also
compassionate and connected to nature. I have created
“Awaken Your Inner Cowgirl,” a coaching practice focused on encouraging women
to find their authentic voice. I’ve owned horses for over 20 years, and
have learned powerful lessons from them. I use horses as a mirror in my
“coaching with horses” specialty, offering a life-changing spiritual experience
of self-discovery.
I am a coaching columnist for the Albuquerque Journal and a writer for
national publications. In a previous life, I was a marketing consultant

horses are unique teachers, who naturally lead people back to a truth they were
born knowing - that they’re empowered, beautiful, calm, kind, fierce and
wild. That they’re enough in any situation, and they can always ask for
help. Horses help you remember the truth, beauty and strength of who you

Equus Coach: Anna Kerckhoff de Sacchi
Location: Algarve, South Portugal
Email: anna@theworkwithhorses.com
Website: www.theworkwithhorses.com
Originally I'm from Germany, but I now live and work in South Portugal,
though I continue to work and offer workshops in Germany and other
countries.
For 3 years I studied and trained intensively in the Instructor Program at
The Monty Roberts International Learning Center in California, where I worked
directly with Monty Roberts and his instructors. During my training, the
head instructor and my main teacher was Koelle Simpson.
In 2009 I was introduced to “The Work", I learned how to combine this,
with horse work, when I visited Koelle in Arizona. I began to use The Work
privately and later I participated in training to become certified as a Coach
for The Work. I have also been certified as an Equus coach by Koelle.
Today I live with my husband Claudio, a veterinarian, our two sons and a
variety of animals in the Algarve, South Portugal. The beautiful surroundings
and unspoiled nature provide a peaceful setting for individual coaching
sessions and workshops. The horses are carefully chosen, safe and actually the
main coaches in the process of reconnecting to your true self.
Equus Coach: Colleen Smith
Location: Southwestern Ontario
Email: chinook8.3@hotmail.com
Website: www.213winchesterfarms.com
I have been practicing as a massage therapist for eighteen years and as a
yoga instructor for three years. For many years I have shown both English and
Western. I have also trained two of my own horses.
The Equus Coaching Program has taken my experience to a whole new level. My
awareness and communication skills with people and horses have expanded in new
and fascinating ways.
I am grateful for my experiences and would like to share them with others.
Namely, I want to share that we do have choices and can choose to live a
peaceful and happy life. Horses DO have the ability to mirror back what we are
feeling and this can be an invaluable tool to discover more about ourselves and
each other.
I live with my husband on a beautiful farm in southwestern Ontario, where I
enjoy spending time riding and working outside. I am currently coaching
individual sessions at our farm which is a private, safe, and comfortable
environment.
Equus
Coach: Stacey J. Warner
Serves the greater Phoenix and Los Angeles areas
Email: stacey@staceyjwarner.com
Website: www.staceyjwarner.com
I was born a seeker and my quest for happiness led me to my true calling as
a Life and Equus Coach.
In 2011 I took a leap of faith, leaving my safe corporate job to really see
what life was about. It was then that I realized the bigger the risk, the
more courage required, the more profound and magical life becomes. I found my
bliss, something akin to riding the universal wave.
I've got guts and my clients often refer to me as the "real deal." My
coaching style is steel wrapped in velvet. My sole motivation is for my
clients to find and live their bliss. My ideal clients are committed,
courageous and on the path (or ready to get jump on).
When I'm not coaching, building my business, or playing with horses, I love
to hike, watch documentaries, reality TV (shhhhhhh, don't tell anyone), read,
and be with my son, Cole.
Equus
Coach: Jennifer Voss
Location: Knoxville, TN and travels to clients
Email: Jennifer@TruthExperience.net
Website: http://www.truthexperience.net
As a Master Life & Equus Coach and the founder of The Truth
Experience, Jennifer Voss helps others reinvent pieces of their personal and
professional lives that are unhealthy or outdated. Before becoming certified as
a Martha Beck Master Coach, she earned an MBA from The University of Alabama
and spent 20+ years in various business ventures – ranging from owning an
independent bookstore to holding an executive role within a national
distribution company. She loves blending her business background with the
magic of equine coaching to help others connect with the heart and soul of
their real work in the world. Her favorite part is nailing down a vision
and watching a dream come to life in a playful and healthy
manner. Jennifer believes that the most efficient and effective way
to do that is to connect with nature and with others who share the same
vision—with those who lift us up and make the game of business and life a fun,
profitable and sustainable one to play. Jennifer lives in Knoxville,
TN with her husband, John, two children, Alex and Zach, two dogs and dreams of
having a horse ranch someday.
Equus coach: Kiersten Roberts
Macreery
Located in Breckenridge and South Park, Colorado
Email: kiersten@coachingbykarma.com
Website: www.forceofadifferentcolor.com
I have been a self-described adventurer, seeker and teacher my whole life. A
world traveler, a whitewater rafting guide, snowmobile guide, and teacher of
English to speakers of other languages, yet nothing has compared to the
adventure and learning experience of Equus coaching--both for me and my
clients.
Before my first time with an Equus coach, I tapped into my fact-finding self. I
read all the websites, watched the videos, read the descriptions (perhaps like
you are doing right now) and this still didn't BEGIN to touch just how powerful
this activity actually was. For this reason, I often have a hard time
describing Equus Coaching to people because, for me, it is truly beyond words
and must be experienced. I call it a FORCE OF A DIFFERENT COLOR.
I love making peoples' visits to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado magical and I
encourage adventurous learners, seekers and travelers to do something different
on their Colorado vacation. Learn to Horse Whisper…and SO much more!

coach: Alissa Gauger, MBA
Located in Madison, WI
Email: alissa@alissagauger.com
Website: www.alissagauger.com
Alissa Gauger is passionate about supporting connection with the self as
well as connection with animals and nature. She has developed a deep
appreciation for horses by living with and fostering three miniature rescue
horses and three full-size horses on her farm. The powerful and constant

horses helped her recover from chronic trauma by gently guiding her back to
herself.
As an Equus Coach who completed Koelle Simpson's Equus Coach Training in
2011 and a Certified Martha Beck Coach, Gauger is excited to offer the same
healing opportunity to others.
Through her own journey, Gauger also discovered Tension & Trauma
Releasing Exercises (TRE) and studied with Dr. David Berceli. She is now a
Level II Advanced Certified TRE Practitioner who works with both groups and
